Founders4schools’ (F4S - www.founders4schools.org.uk) mission is to improve the life chances of students by connecting them with inspiring business leaders who help them to discover the relevant skills and techniques for the ever changing world of work. F4S' free digital platform allows teachers to invite business role models into the classroom, virtually or in person, to share their career journeys. Setting up an event through F4S is as easy as buying a book on Amazon. The F4S platform has many additional functions for teachers that help support the curriculum; including careers fairs, Maths4Girls events, or creating mentoring programmes. Identifying a critical skills gap in the UK economy, F4S was founded in 2011 by serial entrepreneur Sherry Coutu CBE to address the issue. The F4S service has nationwide coverage and has been created through commercial partnerships with major global businesses such as LinkedIn, DueDil & other technology companies.
