The Streamline 55s are an energetic five piece band based in and around Hertfordshire. They take a sprinkle of Rhythm and Blues, slice of Surf music, dollop of Country, and a great big helping of old fashioned Rock and Roll, mixing the lot and heating it up! Covering mainly rarer tracks from the vinyl volts, combined with a handful of better known tunes, they have also been developing their own song writing skills and have introduced some originals. With shared 50/50 male/female vocals, drums, double bass, rhythm and lead guitar, their set will have your foot tapping when the bass is slapping, and your bones movin’ while the rhythm is groovin’. Compromised of a mixed tempo with something for everyone, The Streamline 55s provide sunshine for the soul with their vintage rock and roll! They pride themselves on their lively delivery of an authentic vintage sound and aesthetic.
