I started running at 43 in 2018 and started my Instagram account purely for accountability (@bigfit_i_run, formerly. It unexpectedly grew into a community of 101,000!
8 years later; 8 marathons, 20+ half marathons, 2 × 50 km races, and 3 × 100 km distances; including a 100-mile DNF that turned into a 100 km personal best.
On January 1, 2019, I started a daily 5 km streak; run or walk, no matter what. That habit rewired my brain and reshaped my identity. (neuroplasticity.)
In April 2024, I hosted my first Run Your Life Retreat in Dubrovnik, Croatia. I now host two annual retreats for women who want to explore, connect, and take up space.
