Michi played on the streets of Ireland, choosing spots that pleased the eye and letting the music flow. But when someone advised him to play where more coins would fall, he simply replied, “But then I wouldn’t have the view.” And so he moved on — to places where the sea breathed and the mountains sang. He played for the waves, for the sky, for the silence. His music became an echo of the landscape, carried by the wind, embraced by the rain. Nature was his audience, solitude his applause. Yet even in the vastness, chance would find him — hikers, cyclists, people who stopped and listened in awe, in the middle of nowhere. His melodies grew like roots in the rock. First an album a month, then one a week, eventually one every day. Not for fame, not for fortune — simply for the freedom of sound. He wanted to play for no one — and in doing so, found more listeners than he had ever imagined.
