CAVAN SPEAKS - Every little story helps. Cavan Speaks is a series of videos featuring community workers and individuals who have done good work in promoting diversity and inclusion and Cavan. It is a taster of stories on the goodness of Cavan, how a variety of residents learn and appreciate the different communities in the county, be it a foreign national, or people who have moved from other counties, or from the LGBTQ groups, people with disabilities, the list goes on. It is hoped that these videos will encourage people to listen to their stories, leave their judgements outside, remove their mental boundaries, and be open and appreciate differences. With the help of Cavan County Council and the support of dedicated organisations, it is hoped that funding will be provided for integration projects. All for celebrating diversity and inclusion in Cavan in all its glory, because that’s what Cavan Speaks is all about.
