Created by Christopher Jellison, "Light Shift" is a heavily inspired and nostalgic look at retro gaming. Christopher has a long history of Chiptune music, but has been going away from the jpop techno style of his previous band, "Hello Geno!", and aiming for a more atmospheric approach to the 8bit genre. The name "Light Shift" comes from the game FEZ, in which you must "Shift" your perspective in order to see things in a new light. Similarly, Light Shift's simplistic music provides time for relaxing and reflecting, giving you a new perspective on life, or a deep breath before returning to the day to day normalities.
