St. Luke’s is part of the Episcopal Church and the Worldwide Anglican Communion. St. Luke’s is generally a busy and joyful place on Sundays. It’s not just the fine singing of our choirs, and it’s not just the presence of many children. It’s not just the warm welcoming people and fellowship. It is also that the Presence of Christ is with us. We worship Christ who has died, Christ who is risen and Christ who will come again. We honor the Presence of God in Christ in our midst, for as Jesus said, wherever two or three are gathered in my Name, there am I in the midst of them. Worship is central at St. Luke’s. On Sunday mornings it is traditional, not too formal, but focused around the liturgies and the music of the Episcopal tradition.
