Rob Da 5'9'' was born in Canada.He found his saving grace in hip-hop,starting out freestyling for fun around his friends,and later moved into rapping for a greater share of the spotlight,taking his name from Royce Da 5'9'' (a Detroite rapper). In early 2010,the artist began doing live shows through out Ontario, In late 2010 Rob was given the opportunity to open for Royce Da 5'9'' in Toronto, In 2012 5'9'' Ent. sponsored the mixtape series "Streets Talk To Me" along side Papa Poison (Buliding Children's Music/Out Here) which was hosted by Hot 97 Dj, Dj Absolut & Wu-Tang Dj, Dj Des. in 2019 "Heat from the Streets" radio show was established on Ruff Ryders Radio, which is hosted by Rob Da 5'9'' & Big Tyme every Thursday 7pm - 9pm
