The Living Writers' Series at SDSU is one of the longest continuously running series in the nation. Our events are free and open to the public; tune in for bi-weekly additions including live readings and Q&A sessions, book reviews, interviews with noted authors, and assorted updates from the living literary world. Authors who have participated recently in the Series include: Ellen Bass, Marvin Bell, Nahid Rachlin, Tess Gallagher, Dorianne Laux, Jericho Brown, Garth Greenwell, C.K. Williams, Rick Bass, Jane Hirshfield, Lance Olsen, Tayari Jones, Jerome Rothenberg, Debra Magpie Earling, Wanda Coleman, Alicia Ostriker, Al Young, Camille Dungy, and Maxine Hong Kingston. Also, our SDSU alumni, such as award-winning authors Sherod Santos, Susan Luzzaro, Diana Garcia, Karla Cordero, David Tomas Martinez, Hari Alluri and others have participated in these events.
