Centrum Foundation’s mission is to foster creative arts experiences that change lives. We present, promote, and honor traditional and evolving arts through immersive workshops, public performances, creative education programs for diverse learners, and artist residencies that provide time, space, and inspiration to develop new work. Located in Fort Worden State Park in Port Townsend, Washington, Centrum was established in 1973 with a bold dream: to create a home for the arts by the Salish Sea. Today, we produce more than 250 public programs each year in the performing, literary, and visual arts, welcoming participants and audiences from around the world. We strive to honor the thriving cultures of the S’Klallam and Chemakum tribes and sustain their homelands, building connection and inclusion through the arts.
