Because housing is a human right, the Coalition for the Homeless's mission is to prevent and end homelessness in Louisville through advocacy, education, and coordination of our 40+ member agencies. We were founded in 1986 as a community response to several homeless people dying on Louisville's streets.
We are the the lead advocate for the homeless locally. Our members consist of shelters, agencies, and advocacy groups in the Louisville area.
