I make it my passion to bring Refreshing Views of the night sky as seen through my telescope and camera. Although not a professional scientist, I enjoy understanding the intricacies of the universe and what can be seen through an amateur telescope. I know not everyone has access to a telescope so join us as we explore the lunar surface, visit the planets in our solar system, travel through the Milky Way to distant galaxies - all with a cup of tea. I write for Astronomy Now (the UK’s leading astronomy magazine) and, surprisingly, was shortlisted for the 2021 AstroPhotography of the Year competition. When not observing from my garden observatory, I enjoy visiting dark skies in the UK and overseas. I also write too infrequently on his own blog at www.refreshingviews.com.
