Swarnaraj as a Independent Church and by God's will was handed over to Rev. S. A. Sundraraj in 1980. According to divine guidance Rev. S. A. Sundarraj joined this church with the Assemblies of God organization. He was sincerely and sacrificially serving in this church until 2017 January. The church building was dedicated in March, 13 1988 and the extension was dedicated in January 21, 2012. By God's abundant grace this church has been growing in several aspects. After Rev S. A. Sundarraj. had been promoted to God's glory, Rev. J. Stanley Manickaraj had been appointed as the Senior Pastor by the Organization.
