For 12 years Doug Smith traveled the globe playing drums, percussion, and vibraphone with Portland's Pink Martini. Doug was also a member of the 1985 World Champion Garfield Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps. His education includes a degree in Percussion Performance from the University of Oregon which he attended on partial scholarship. He now dedicates his time to teaching people of all ages the art of percussion and drumming with an emphasis on playing and learning because it's fun.
