Babak Arjomandi (b. 1976, Tehran) is a multidisciplinary creator with over 30 years of experience in software, firmware, and IoT development. Starting his programming journey in 1991, he later founded one of Iran’s first tourism portals, Namay-e Iran. Alongside his tech work, he is a passionate mountaineer and nature photographer. In 2008, he moved to Canada and later founded “WoodThen,” a woodworking studio. Returning to Iran in 2020, he continues producing creative content. His documentary Lake Desert (2019) won Best Nature/Travel Film at the European Cinematography Awards. He is also the author of the mythic-romantic novella Avare Farnas.
