Gerald Heslinga is a marine biologist who conducts applied research on the reproduction and developmental biology of tropical marine organisms. Educated at Harvard, the University of Hawaii and on overseas assignments in 18 countries, Gerald has spent his entire professional career in the tropical and subtropical Asia-Pacific region.
As founder and president of Indo-Pacific Sea Farms (www.ipsf.com), a commercial aquaculture company based in Hawaii, Gerald, his wife Kyoko and daughters Olivia and Lisa have made Kailua-Kona their home for the past 17 years.
