I write about music - and I write and play music. I've been a rock journalist since I was a kid in the late Seventies. I became a singer-songwriter and recording artist in 2012, after my book on "I'm Your Man: The Life of Leonard Cohen" was published and I decided I'd take my ukulele on a worldwide book tour and sing some of his songs . I've since released two albums of my own songs - "Sylvie", on Light In The Attic Records, and "Blue On Blue" on Compass Records - which I'm happy to say got brilliant reviews. I'm not as tech-savvy as I'd like to be, so I don't have a ton of videos. Wish I did. Maybe one day. Meanwhile, I hope you like my channel. Thanks!
