Research Support Community Day is a professional development and networking event for librarians who support researchers.
The program will include presentations from a variety of speakers including researchers, librarians and e-research specialists. There will be opportunities to network with other librarians and to hear what other Australian research and academic libraries are doing in the research support space.
The event is aimed at library staff with an interest in research support and services. You don’t have to be working in the area or have experience in delivering services to researchers; we encourage a wide range of perspectives and welcome all, including those new to academic libraries. Sessions will be facilitated by research librarians who actively develop and deliver research services, and there will be plenty of time for discussion.
