The Trondheim Chamber Music Festival finds chamber music to be an expression of musical collaboration at a high professional level, and hence inherent in most music genres. Based on this philosophy the festival promotes early music and contemporary music, jazz, popular music, rock and folk music. The festival was established in 1996 and has since burst onto Norways cultural scene with a fresh approach. It expresses youthfulness and vitality with focus on young ensembles at a high artistic level.
