Back in the day... before the internet... there was the BBS. These ran on 16 color graphics called ANSIs. Ansi's were created by a sub-genre of artists collected together in groups named: ACiD, CiA, iCE, DARK. FOS, SURGE and many many more.. Once a month each group would gather their art and release them in organized zip files called packs. While the technology has changed -- the raw creative energy has not! The ANSI scene is alive and kicking today with groups such as Blocktronics, Mistigris, Legacy Krew and more!
