Raina Lahiri is a versatile singer. She is a Sangeet Visharad and has been a finalist in the popular national competitive singing program, The Indian Idol. She has been learning classical music since 19 years now and the journey is still on. In the past she has performed with legendary artists like Pyarelal Ji from the popular Laxmikant-Pyarelal duo, Talat Aziz, Vinod Rathod, Anuradha Paudwal, Sudesh Bhosle and many more. She has performed in more than 1000 shows in India as well as abroad. She has also performed for various singing shows on TV channels such as Sab TV, Star Plus, Sony TV, ETV Urdu and Doordarshan. Raina has done playback singing in more than 11 languages. Raina will soon be seen as a playback singer for upcoming movie Mridang along with Kumar Sanu. Raina teaches music to 400+ students through her music academy Raina's Music Academy. She believes one has to love music unconditionally and nurture the art form from heart.
