TwizzMatic got his start in music from watching his father, Anthony “Spike” McRae, (a drummer from the north side of Philadelphia) but realized he wanted to be a producer after getting a copy of a computer software called “FL Studio”. Growing up in church earned him a front row seat to the genius of Gospel music but during his teenage years, and he would make tapes of his favorite HipHop or R&B songs to learn the words. Aside from him studying theater at the High School for Creative And Performing Arts, it wasn’t until then at the age of 14 that he started writing and producing music. In 2005 he expanded his knowledge in music when he attended The Recording Workshop (Chillicothe Ohio) and received his certification in audio engineering. Twizz has collaborated with some notable producers and artists throughout his journey and the best is yet to come.
