Avra Haraka is a soprano/singer from Greece, an alumna of the Royal Northern College of Music
in Vocal Studies & Opera (Bachelor of Music with Honours). Avra also has an extensive background in Musical Theatre; She performed in numerous productions at Campion School, in Athens, during her senior years. Since moving to the UK, she has performed in recitals, masterclasses, and participated in Opera productions. She took on the lead role ‘Serpina' in LA SERVA PADRONA for the RNCM 2019 Opera Scenes, and was cast as 'Zerlina' in DON GIOVANNI the consecutive year. Avra is the leader of her own creative project, “Rhythms of the Mediterranean” - this classical crossover concert showcases songs written by Spanish & Greek composers (folk, tango, boléro, latin ballads, renditions of popular songs). Avra is an innovative professional singer who loves collaborating with Pop musicians, experimenting across musical styles, and who aspires to keep pushing herself creatively.
