So what is The Lyric Professors all about? We are going to dissect the finest lyrics in the land to find out what makes them tick, and how they complement songs. We are Professor A and Professor J - two musicians who have been playing together for 30 years. we are going to be aided and abetted on this investigation by the help of Professor Dogger. Why are we doing this? We, like a lot of musicians, ran into a moment when we were hitting writers block and asked ourselves how does one write lyrics for music - is it planned, premeditated, on feelings, inspired chemically? This led us to ask how our favourite musicians were doing it and here we are! How will this work? This is a weekly video podcast where we take a deep dive into artists that we think provide interesting lyrics. Season 1 starts with Nick Cave.
