WIEGAND is a Synthpop band from Pulheim near Cologne, consisting of Helge Wiegand (songwriting, production & vocals) and Jens Domgörgen (live support, social media & booking). Helge is known, among other things, as a band member of T.O.Y. and occasionally as a keyboardist for DIORAMA. Jens has been a moderator at major scene festivals for many years, such as the Amphi Festival.
WIEGAND songs are catchy, melancholic, danceable, and come with a high guarantee of being earworms and sing-alongs.
In 2018, WIEGAND released their debut album titled "Released," featuring the single "Floating Away," with remixes by Frozen Plasma, Mental Discipline, and T.O.Y.
In 2020, they followed up with the single "Get Informed" and in 2023 with "Pied pipers" from the album "Arrived".
WIEGAND has performed live as a support act for Peter Heppner and Rroyce, as well as at various festivals, including Amphi Festival 2023, Black Lower Castle Festival 2025 and the NCN Festival 2025.
