Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Dayton Cahill is an award-winning singer and multi-instrumentalist. From a very young age, Cahill has shown a strong interest and passion for music and is self-taught at several instruments including guitar, piano, drums and bass. He is also a self-taught singer, producer and an amateur audio engineer. Citing Linkin Park, Jann Arden, Glen Hansard, Gotye, Joni Mitchell, Jacob Collier, The Frames, Damien Rice and Sarah McLachlan as his biggest inspirations, Cahill has also won several awards for his musical accomplishments, including the 2018 International Yes I Can Award in the category of Arts, at the age of 14. He also served as the lead vocalist for the short-lived Canadian indie rock band Copperleaf from 2022 to 2024.
