KORC is a low-power, freeform, community radio station serving the city of Corvallis, Oregon. Listener funded and volunteer operated, KORC is dedicated to filling the gap in low-power FM programming with great music and local news. We offer music you don’t normally hear on the radio, including a good amount of local talent. Our DJs are your neighbors, friends, or the person behind the counter. This is because we’re all about making KORC a part of Corvallis, with shows run by locals who have full creative freedom. Additionally, we have a dedication to civic engagement, offering PSAs, street interviews, and sharing hyperlocal news. KORC has the opportunity to teach civics by connecting music to civics in actions that are relevant to the community. KORC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with an FCC license and membership to the National Federation of Community Broadcasters.
