Artificial Complex, originated as an offshoot of the solo work of Érico Ferry (formerly known as Fryer), and has its roots in the city of Teresina (PI). The name of the project, conceptually related to the artificiality of urban spaces and human relationships, reflects the essence of Ferry's musical and visual creations. With influences that already encompassed alternative music, post-punk revival, shoegaze and experimental/electroacoustic music, the project evolved over time, now counting on new members and sounds.
