Adam “AV” Vinson is a rapper living in Brooklyn, New York. His debut album “The Golden Hour” was released in April of 2018. AV describes “The Golden Hour” as a time of day when people are completing their work/responsibilities and many people relax on rooftops, beaches, or their front porches. They reflect or do activities that bring them peace of mind. The Golden Hour is the time you realize that your journey has come full circle. Essentially, what "The Golden Hour" means to me is the end of the past, the embrace of the present and to live for the future. It is the first chapter in my story, my journey, and my truth. The album features reggae singers, R&B singers, and rappers (my friends and I). It's a story of identity, vulnerability, discovery, acceptance, and resurgence. AV is releasing his new album "ADVenture Rap" soon. The NYC rapper has grown a local following at NYU, graduating from their Gallatin School with a degree in Performing Arts.
