Sorah Rionda is the heiress of melodies that are weaved in the poetry of the Cuban afternoons and passed on by the voice and the guitar of her grandmother (niece of Graciano Gómez, famous author, composer and instrumentalist of traditional Cuban music). This "cultural ocean" she bathed in, is infused by ancestral feelings for Africa, Spain, Latin America and Japan and it is also merged with the gaiety, colors, nostalgia and passionate love for Havana. The influences of the old Cuban song, which we can find in her compositions, are always inspired by these traditions and accompanied by the soul of the jazz.
