Social Youth Cult are a post-punk group that love to cultivate the unusual. The budding group are a force to be reckoned with in the gothic world, both in attitude and sound. Having shed the skin of their early darkwave-esque efforts, SYC now command attention via a heavy, rhythmic sound remiscient of early Bauhaus. Refusing a firm definition, their sound is atmospheric, yet sporadic; outward, yet introspective; gothic, yet Gang of Four. Social Youth Cult are in fine form, returning from an array of cross-country dates that both stunned and captivated new listeners. The band's debut album 'The Lighthouse' will be released 2nd November 2025.
