“The story ends with the mayor at the courthouse looking back at the admin standing there staring with an, “I told you so.” facial expression while holding flint and steel. The court or what was left of it was now a pile of ruins. The sky was dark and rain fell down. The fire was still present in the rain which didn’t seem to make sense. The corrupt mayor finally admitted that they were corrupt. It was a gruesome sight, the rain and thunder but yet the flames rose high. Silence, there was for a moment before the admin spoke, “Go to hell.” before disappearing into the rainy combination of fog and smoke. Did it really end though?
