Groove Control are musicians in which some of us rap. The musical experience helps create a certain groove to our songs. My recent mix tape, Independent $tate of Mind (the sequel to American Curren$y) is about a Brooklyn rapper straight out of Canarsie and his everyday life as a minority in Brooklyn. It focuses more deeply on society for Brooklyn Youth. I just released an EP with J Groove (another artist from Groove Control) called "Tales From The Hood". Every track on the EP is a story or "tale" from the hood we live in. It's really for real hip-hop fans, all the beats have a 80's type feel to them. The EP is hosted by Teddy Da Don, a close friend of mine. He has done work with rappers such like Fabolous and Soulja Boy. I have a lot of stage presence and I love to get the crowd into the performance; I am not a stand still rapper. My band is also available for Live Music.
