Singer/Songwriter, Poet, Writer
I write about: social issues, history, strong emphasis on women, currently writing a novel.
Lives on the Line is my fourth CD. It tells the stories of the people involved in building of the Settle Carlisle Railway Line. The songs are based on true life events and history associated with the Ribblehead Viaduct, Blea Moor Tunnel and the shanty towns - Batty Green, Jericho. Supported in the CD and film by Mike Harding, Musician, Broadcaster, Poet, Writer.
The film was shot on location at Ribblehead Viaduct, Chapel-le-Dale in the Ingleborough area of the Yorkshire Dales. I think the film would be of interest to: RAILWAY ENTHUSIASTS, HISTORIANS, FRIENDS OF THE SETTLE CARLISLE RAILWAY, YORKSHIRE DALES, FOLK MUSIC, SOCIAL HISTORY,
