Static Channel is a Canadian audiovisual duo led by visual artist Monika Hauck (based in Helsinki FI), and producer/musician Alex Ricci (based in Berlin DE). Static Channel combines instrumental electronic music with sound-responsive, abstract visuals in AV performance and installations. In past iterations from 7-piece post-rock band to laptop duo, the group has performed numerous events including Hillside Festival, Hold Fast, Nuit Blanche, and Y2K Mexico.
