The GREAT Frederick Fair (The Frederick Fairgrounds) The GREAT Frederick Fair is Frederick County's (MD) single largest event (An annual 9 day event in September), featuring some 18,000 competitive exhibits, ranging from livestock, home arts, farm & garden to 4-H/FFA. The Frederick Fairgrounds features 44 buildings and over 40 acres of outdoor space for events throughout the year. Located in Frederick, MD, our location is easily accessible off I-70, Exit 56, and from downtown Frederick. Seven commercial buildings are available for daily events.
