Stereostatix is a Hip Hop group from Oakland, California. The band combines the socially-conscious, sensory lyricism of Zyde (vocals) with the bedrock, rhythmic grooves of Eric the Walrus (drums) and Ryan Gates (bass), and the soulful textures and scorching fret work of Josh Shimchick (guitar, keys, samples). They continue to infuse their passion for boom bap, golden era rap, funk, soul, and alternative rock into an engaging, live format.
