Lunch Break is so much more than a soup kitchen. We're sustenance for life. Every day hundreds of people come through our doors seeking assistance, maybe a little help for today or a long term solution for tomorrow. Since 1983, when Lunch Break began as a basement soup kitchen, we have been providing meals and critical services to economically insecure families, individuals, senior citizens, veterans and the disabled throughout Monmouth County and beyond, free of charge. And we're still growing to meet the challenging needs, all because of our generous donors and 2,000-plus volunteers. Thank you for getting to know Lunch Break.
