Brett remembers arriving home and spending hours watching YouTube piano tutorials. He learned how to play the pop songs he had heard that day on the car radio coming back from school. Brett’s love for piano naturally evolved into a love for songwriting. As a middle-schooler, Brett systematically cranked out cheesy love songs - basically copying ideas from popular radio songs. His dad would always tell him that these cheesy songs were brilliant masterpieces. (You can probably still find a couple of them somewhere on YouTube) Right after beginning school at Vanderbilt University in Nashville in August of 2017, Brett knew he needed to share his music with the world.
