Presenting the sound of the Groups many of these same musicians were associated with in Beltsville Area in the "Punk" and "New Wave" era of the late 1970's and early 1980's.
Together Bill Fortney, Ernest Beckner, Kevin Levesque, Paul Shipley, Dave Fortney, Tom Yeager, Beau Brinkerhoff and T. Herndon produced some really good numbers, along with some fairly forgettable ones. These groups: Marco Million$, Sabre' Dance, Bill Fortney & the Others, The Barons and Small Change have been compared favorably to The Velvet Underground amongst others. Good Original music was as hard to come by then as it is today. As you will hear on some of the live recordings, audiences would rather have heard "Skynard" covers, etc.
On this channel ALL is presented! .....The Good, The Bad and the downright Ugly. The out of tune guitar, the bass playing out of key, the drummer unable to come in off of a fill and the singers garbling the words. It's all here in Technicolor - Pimples and All! Enjoy!
