Mark Ski is a DJ/Turntablist. producer, radio host and one of the founding members of the Northampton Hip-Hop scene. His DJ sets combine classic and contemporary Hip-Hop, Beats, Funk, Breaks & beyond, blended with the DJ skills that have become his trademark. With a reputation as Northampton's go-to Hip-Hop/scratch DJ, he has supported a who's who of artists from the worlds of Hip-Hop, Turntablism, Deep Funk & Acid Jazz including Jazzy Jeff, Pharoahe Monch, Grandmaster Flash, The Pharcyde, Norman Jay, The Brand New Heavies, DJ Yoda, Craig Charles, DJ Format, The Scratch Perverts and more. As official DJ for rapper FFSYTHO?! they have performed at Glastonbury, Readling & Leeds, Kendal Calling, Shambala and Fusion festivals. Ski's music has been featured on 2DopeBoyz, Huff Post, Hip-Hop DX, receiving national and international airplay. He hosts his award winning Funk by Funk show on UK station Inspiration FM in-between ongoing production work, DJ commitments & scratch features.
