In May 2025 I discovered its competitive scene and was intrigued. After stepping back from competitive Smash Bros. in 2021, it has renewed passion for creating videos and streaming as well as finding a game to compete in again. It even pulled me back into Melee. Sonic’s my all-time favorite series—it’s why I play games at all—and combining that with my love for esports would be a dream.
