There are many reasons why so many in our community choose VHCC. Our convenient location, open-door policy, and diverse program offerings make us a vital community asset. In addition, VHCC offers tuition that is about one-third the cost of attending a public university in Virginia. Although our programs and services are always changing to meet the needs of our community, our commitment to quality is unwavering. VHCC is a great place to complete the first half of a bachelors degree, to pursue a two-year degree or certificate in a technical field, or to brush up basic skills. Its also a great place to upgrade workplace skills or to earn college credit while still in high school. Indeed one of VHCCs greatest strengths is the ability to meet the diverse needs of a diverse community by always putting students first.
