I'm Andrew, Born in the UK, I grew up playing drums in art/noise/punk/experimental bands in Lyon, France (Happy Anger, Plod, Andre Duracell, Chewbacca, The Rubiks, Chevignon...) until tinnitus/hyperacusis made it impossible in 2010. I've been an mbira player since around 2005. In 2019 I got a digital piano and started to learn some Bach, I wanted to be able to play at least one fugue! I also started to figure out some mbira tunes and that soon became my main focus. Being able to play mbira music with different sounds and effects opens up so many possibilities, it blows my mind and I want to share the fun!
