About the Host (Adam): Culturally, I am Pennsylvania Dutch by birth, a Mennonite, and involved with local Native American groups socially and in ceremony. My professional training is in the hard sciences, starting with forestry (Associates degree), biology with chemistry and archaeology minors (B.S.), ethnobotany (MS) and finally medical biochemistry (Ph.D.).
