I got back into modeling back in 2013 after almost 20 yrs to build a 1959 Chevy Biscayne as a gift to my dad who had been suffering since early 2013 from a series of strokes. I chose this model to replicate one he had during the late 60's - early '70's that he had much success with in drag racing, and now have added a couple of more cars as well ('64 Galaxie 500 XL, '62 Chevy 409, and '55 Chevy) that meant a lot to him also. Now am a active member of the community, going to shows once or twice a year, enjoying and supporting the work of others, and getting bench time when I can, which ain't easy...I do all genres, although cars and WWI & II aircraft are my favorites along with Porsches and Ferraris (civilian & racing), but Gundams, figures and WWII armor also strike my interest....My stash includes about 400 kits covering all genres for the most part, although now I am trying to pare that down (I will never live long enough to build them all).
