At once collective and highly personal, L’Rain’s three previous studio albums (L’Rain, 2017; Fatigue, 2021; I Killed Your Dog, 2023) subverted the very notion of experimental music – tapping into the expansive lineage of Black American sound while thriving on the tension between identity and the social expectations which seek to define it.
