Young Coconut (a lucky name given by their friend) was formed when the Third Wave Ska wave was sweeping like a pandemic throughout the world. Upbeat drums, "seket-seket" guitars mixed with punk rock despair distortion, and wild 500 Hz bass frequencies are the musical formula they adopted, like their heroes: Operation Ivy, Mu330, Suicide Machines, etc. Punk rock has "co-opted" ska. Having released several singles, including "Young Coconut" (Skalloween Compilation - Riotic Records) and "Hopelessly" (Time For Skunk Compilation - Eastern Wolves Records), they are back with the release of their latest single entitled "Realita", with the latest lineup: Hilman "Iing " (vocals), Indra (guitar / vocals), Andre (guitar), Dani "Blek" (Bass), Agus "B-teung" (drums) and Menos (trumpet).
