Welcome to my channel, 'The Art of Breeding with Brian Reeder'. New videos will post every other FRIDAY. On this channel I will be focusing on genetics and the use of genetics in breeding programs, both in a general sense, and in specific with chickens (junglefowl hybrids) and daylilies (Hemerocallis hybrids), among other types of plants and animals including North American Colubrid snakes and Goldfish. I will also look at my influences, both from art and science, and will look at hybridization, domestication and selection. We will also look at my own breeding programs, which have always had a heavy emphasis on both the art and beauty of phenotypes, along with vigor, disease resistance and strong fertility, breed ability and breeding value. Join me as I reveal my understanding of the process, and share with you the influences that have shaped my process and view of breeding domestic plants and animals.
