Wreckhouse is the solo recording project of Multi instrumentalist, father and aged care worker Christopher Lee-Challoner. Chris has been playing in the Meanjin (Brisbane) music scene for the last 14 years including a Wreckhouse live band and mostly drumming and playing guitar and bass for various rock bands including Iron Bullfrog and The Plastic Fangs. Always recording in a small home studio. Chris is currently working on Sibby. An album consisting of DIY pop about the journey of early parenthood. Chris has already released 8 EPs and one album under the names Wreckhouse, and Chris Lee and the Wreckhouse since starting the project in 2014. With each release having its own sound. Sometimes Wreckhouse can be acoustic ballads and other times glittery indie. Sometimes weird but mostly wonderful. Chris saw some success in 2015 with ‘I Can’t See You Tonight’ receiving some air play on Australian radio station triple J.
